Aimi previously managed Blackpool Council’s award winning voluntary work-placement programme called ‘Chance2Shine’ – enabling disadvantaged and long term unemployed to gain more confidence and valuable work skills.
Lynn Saggerson, CEO of Blackpool Fylde & Wyre Volunteer Centre will also be announcing a new initiative aimed at helping the VCFSE sector.
Like previous meetings, we will be giving everyone an opportunity to stand up and present a message about their business or organisation. Fylde Coast Resilience wants to bring the VCFSE, private and public sectors together. Unlike many such gatherings, this event is primarily for the attendees.
We have only one purpose – to provide a meeting place for people who want to make our community a better place. Whether it’s assistance or funding for a new business, sponsors for a charity, or just being introduced to people who can help, Fylde Coast Resilience is here to make a difference. Our aim is to regenerate and develop people’s hopes, dreams and abilities by linking them with others.
The event was held on Wednesday 8th March, 2-4pm at Mandus House, 476 Lytham Road, Blackpool, FY4 1JF.
