Months before this launch meeting, Steve Lord asked Ed Christiano and Tony Carr to co-found Fylde Coast Resilience and to assist him with getting the project off the ground. Steve, former regional manager of Bass Taverns, covering the Fylde and beyond, wanted to bring the VCFSE community closer together by giving them a platform to network at no cost. Since the launch and a few meetings afterwards, Steve has handed the reigns over to Tony and Ed. But primary credit must be given to Tony Carr for finding a way to fund the meetings at worthy venues through Social Enterprise Solutions and Blackpool CAN.
